EELLS

Welcome to the East of England Lifelong Learning Support (EELLS) Project

The University of Hertfordshire is working with the University of Luton to develop a new system that has the potential to simplify the process of personal record keeping and personal development planning, promising users the opportunity to present themselves and their achievements efficiently and effectively and to simplify the recruitment process for prospective employers.

There would be no need to keep records and certificates in a shoe-box on top of the wardrobe, instead important career and academic information could be organised electronically and accessed from anywhere in the world.

Through the EELLS eportfolio lifelong learners could make all kinds of information, such as examples of past work or educational certificates, readily available to prospective employers or educational recruiters, presented in a personalised showcase or CV.
